despite plenty of advice to the contrary, our drop-in classes are, always have been, and will always be pay-what-you-can. anyone can come to any drop-in class. some pay more, some pay less, we all get what we need. to us, that is the definition of community.
last year, nearly 800 (!!) drop-ins utilized our pay-what-you-can structure! this added up to over $8,500 (!!) in equity pricing. this number matters to me more than any other and i hope it goes up every year we exist.
